This is my oldest brother, the reason he got off the tractor was because he was having problems with the baler and was trying to make adjustments. RIP JMG i love you Today, 7-4-11 9:34:33 AM

talked to a guy who got tangled up in a potato harvester which was plugged up with foil.He was lucky, and next time will use a stick to poke in a running machine, instead of his boot.

So sorry, accidents only take a split second. I remember a few years ago we had a speaker attend a safety session at G.E.Young man was working on a family farm and his coveralls got caught in the pto shaft of large tractor, lost leg and arm if I remember correctly, such an eye opener. Farm work is so very dangerous.

Thank you but just to clarify - I posted the text after reading the article.
So the loss here was not mine directly but that of GUEST, and to that party I offer my sympathies.

However, we all lost a possible friend with the loss of a fellow tractor operator.
