I notice in Kubota's B-series literature that a "B2002 Main frame kit" is required for use of a rear blade. Rather odd, thinks I. Does anyone have this kit and can you describe it? Is it necessary for all ground engaging tractors in the B series? Does it reduce ground clearance? Thanks to any responders in the know on this issue.

That's a new one on me. I have a B2400 and have never heard about a B2002 Main Frame Kit.

Hey Muhammad, have you heard about this one?

I'll take a stab at it, but I'm just guessing.

First of all, it's not something required of the B-series tractors for non-Kubota implements.

What I think Kubota might do is have one common "rear frame" that they use for their rear blade and maybe a few other items, like a landscape rake or plow or something(?).

I've seen mention of a front frame necessary for snowblower/snowblade and sweeper attachment, so I'm guessing this is something similar.

I think the majority of us here use other than Kubota implements, so we might not be up to speed on all the specifics of Kubota implements.

Beats me. I did add a top link brackt from the backhoe kit which is much stronger since I boxblade in reverse a lot. I am not sure what they are talking about unless it is something specific to a Kubota implement. My 2410 works just fine with all 3-point type implements attached to the standard3-point. I would not worry about it since none of us seem to have whatever it is /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. J

The one thing I do wonder about is the Narrow variant of the B7500. That B unit is a version that is only about 35 inches wide. I wonder if it needs a sub-frame of some kind to add rigidity to the rear axle assembly?

The B2002 is actually part of the rear blade. When you order a Kubota rear blade, you need to order the moleboard (either a 48" or 60") and the main frame kit have a complete grader blade.

Ditto to what Equipment man said. I have used a Woods RB60 for many hours on my B-7500 without any problems. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

That almost sounds like a way to nickle and dime somebody.

Or it could be a way to get two sizes without having to buy two complete assemblies. This way you could use either the 48" or 60" blade.
