Does anyone have a mailbox monitor? My mailbox is almost 1/2 mile from the house (with a few trees in the way) and a notification alert of mail arrival sure would be nice.

if you're the only house on that drive lane you could think about a driveway alarm. it would tell you when someone pulls up - may serve a duel purpose. I have one - it's been working great for three years now. it is completely non-visible and works off vibration

Tell us about yours, please. I'm thinking about getting one.

Driveway alarm will not work, it is a through street out front and the mailman does not enter my drive. Thanks.

1/2 mile is a long run and I've never seen a driveway alarm go much past 400'. Even live video security limits wire length to 600' maximum.

I'm 700 feet back off the road but I bought the magnetic driveway alarm from TSC for $69. It's range is 400', deer and yotes don't set it off. It gives me heads up enough to be ready for trouble which has only happened once in 4 years.

For a mailbox?? I only check mine when I leave and come home. I'm just not that interested in junk mail or the bills!
