Mahindra's Bucket Strength

SPYDER, I'm trying to visualize the weak point on the loader bucket you mentioned. I have a 5525 with the 72" bucket, but for now the unit is tucked away at our other home. Have used it only to play and orient myself. Spring time clean up will be the first heavy use. Can you please post a picture of the area and the fix for the problem?

Brian, your bucket is like the "ALPHA BUCKET"! LOL! Man that thing looks sturdy. I'm thinking about going with 3/8" instead of 1/4".

Not much wear on that bucket yet. Its barely turning red! Has it cracked on the underside as described in #9 above? It will if you use it hard. Better check.

Larry, you're correct, not much use really. If it got as much use as I would like, a large part of it would be shinny silver instead of just the teeth. I will have to check both of my buckets for cracks, although my 84" bucket only gets used for loose material.

mtnviewranch, Is your weld on the 2x2x3/8" metal plate all the way around the plate or spot welded?
