Comparison Mahindra vs Kioti

   / Mahindra vs Kioti #31
Google it. Mahindra is the top seller in India and China. India is the largest market in the world buying roughly 500,000 tractors per year. 4 out of 10 tractors in India are Mahindra's. They also dominate the market in China which is the #2 market in the world. In 2014 before Mahindra was as well known in the US they had 8% of the US market share which put them in the #3 spot and their popularity and sales have grown from there. They have been the fastest growing brand in the US for several years. They are making their path into the US market the same way Hyundai did with cars, by building a good product and offering the longest warranties of any manufacturer to help them gain the confidence of their customers.

Please state how you are affiliated with Mahindra... You have posted many nearly identical statements about Mahindra in multiple threads.

Interesting reading. I started shopping recently with every manufacturer in existence on my radar screen.
Narrowed down to Kioti and Mahindra. Both great machines and I liked them equally. DK4510HS vs. 2538.
The deciding factor for me was two simple things. One, the Mahindra dealer has several machines that had badly faded paint. I didn't want a pink tractor. Two, the seat was more comfortable on the Kioti. Otherwise, both are great machines and the bottom line came down to a very personal reason. I don't think you can go wrong with either and just pick the one that speaks to you the loudest. You're splitting hairs otherwise.

Google it yourself! First, Google is a company name, not a verb. Second, you're still not providing any evidence to back-up your claims. When you do so then we can discuss your claims further. Until then- I'm NOT a believer just because you state something as being your truth.

I posted earlier in this thread that I was comparing a Mahindra 1500 / upcoming 1600 series to the Kioti CKs.

I'll be taking delivery of a CK3510se within the next 2 weeks.

The quote on the CK3510se was within $100 of a Mahindra 1526, both w/ loader and back hoe. I could've gone either way if the Mahindra was a bit less, but 10 more HP (~9 at the PTO), standard dual rear remotes, HST linked pedals, and Independent PTO on the CK3510se, plus added weight, better loader and back hoe specs, and a higher hydraulic flow rate made the Kioti a better bang for the buck. Now, that might not be a fair comparison, since the weight/power of the CK3510se is probably closer to the larger-framed Mahindra 1533, but most of the other comparisons stand, and the 1533 was almost $4k more than the 1526. I still like the fact that with the Mahindra's there is no DPF, or, more importantly, no user interaction required when doing a regen, since it seems that users missing the regen cues might be a reason for at least some of the problems w/ DPF-equipped machines, but I'll learn to be vigilant with the CK.n

Edit - BTW, I could care less who sells the most of anything, or even where something is made as long as it's made well. I care that I'll be getting value for my money, as long as my purchase will be supported (especially during the warranty period). I don't think Kioti, Mahindra, or any of the other manufactures are going anywhere anytime soon. I was pretty comfortable with my dealer, and most of the dealers I talked to, but I looked at many different brands, but not many brands had more than 1 dealer within 1 hour of my location, and maybe only 2-3 within 1 1/2 hours, incl. the 'big' ones like JD and Kubota. FWIW - the closest dealer to me (10 min away) was a JD, and I was quotes over $33k for both a 2032r or a 2038r TLB. That price difference on what I saw as a product that delivered less value for my money wasn't worth the convenience or the 'assurance' that I'd be able to get parts, that they were going to be around 10 years from now, or that they were that much 'better' than another brand.

Congratulations on the new Kioti tractor. Get ready to so some work.

I recently purchased the CK4010 SEHC and could not be happier. Everything is working just great. Also, every Kioti implement is made by Woods; which is one of the most respected farm implement manufacturer in USA.

I honestly don't care how many tractors are sold in China or India!

If I lived in India or China I would most likely be able to buy a Mahindra for far less than the competition.

I like Kioti because they make almost all of their own stuff, much like Kubota does, and I found a dealer thats been with them a long time.
