Mahindra Max 25
years ago i had an issue and tried my damndest to get the dealer to help fix or get the part i needed, and basically that was a 7 week joke. Too complicated to explain the whole scenario. so i ended up gettin a part from Bill.s in TX, cheaper and shipped for half price in 2 days shipping. 3 days later i fixed it myself.

recently had a hydri/trans leak plus needed servicing. tried the dealer again and it has been one joke. they fixed and serviced but had issues on cold start and messed with glow plugs for 3-4 weeks now and as of this last 2 weeks they still cannot get glow plugs. called today and still notta. the whole experience with this dealer and mahindra has been shabby and a freaking joke. lie te tractor overall, BUT...

sorry for my rant. just losing it....

I can understand the frustration. Not asking for specific names, but I'm curious as to the size of this dealership, and what (if any) other tractor lines they sell? I have my own views on Mahindra as a whole, and how well they work with their dealers when it comes to service issues and parts supply. I believe your situation is far more common than it should be.

Never have an issue with my Kubota dealer, probably why I do business with them.

What engine is used? Is there a chance you can cross shop dealers?

That's a frustrating thing to have bringing your machine to a hault.

there is only 1 dealer in the area and even that is 50 plus miles away. really kind of sucks.
:)

If it’s the Max 25 it has a Mitsubishi S3L. Very common engine. I have the MHI service manual and Operation and Maintenance manual if you’re interested. Extremely detailed

ah - i forget to check it sorry - yes it is the max 25. mitsubishi. i was going to ask where you got the manual at? and how much?

i have been away from this site since i had 5 major surgeries last 3 years and 3 major ones within 11 months this past year. emergency open heart surgery and then a complication that they had to reopen my chest. plus a hernia op 6 weeks after open heart surgery. so i have been doan and out for a long time.

how much was the manual? $ is tough at the moment but maybe a detailed manual would help me a bit though i do not have a shop and have all standard tools and maybe 10 metrics.

I really appreciate all of your comments. a dealer and shop should have some parts on you would think. and mahindra - that is rather a joke.

have a good weekend guys!
