Thanks for your comments and pictures, very kind of you to reply. I do like the style of the 4110. Have you seem the 6000 4wd (sixty horse supposed to be made in India) looks like the 4110's big brother? What's the lift capicity of your FEL?
Also, thanks for getting me out of the Kioto section. Brand new to this site and am still finding my way around. Thx. again

No problem! I hope you find the info useful - to answer your latest questions....

...the 6000 4wd...

Hmmm - no, I haven't seen it. Is it a new model? The only "6000" I've seen is the 2wd 6000 that is listed on Mahindra's website. If you have a link or picture I'd sure like to see it.

What's the lift capacity of your FEL?

Per the manual....
ML112 Loader

Lift capacity to Full Height @ Pivot Points - 1550 lbs
Breakout force @ Pivot Points - 2650 lbs

For comparison, it fits somewhere between the Kioti KL1450 & KL1470 (closer to the 1450 end of the spectrum)

No Problemo! You'll find that a lot of us "surf" ALL the boards on this site, so if you post a message in one place, it'll definitely be found by the "regulars."

Keep the questions coming! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I've had my 03 4110 split in two twice for repairs to the clutch and to the 4x4 . I still have over heating problems and my 3 pt lift wanders up or down. there are many features that I like on my tractor but the manufactur quality is not one of them also manufacturer support is awful. I wish I had bought a kubota. My dad has 2 kubotas and they are indestructable.

You dug up a 5 year old thread on your first post just to tell us Kubota's are indestructable? I have three in our shop right now for repairs...they break down also. Good machines? Yes they are. Perfect? Not even close. Sorry about your 4110 problems, they are not typical.

So, why didn't you buy an indestructible Kubota?

I got kindof sad today. After searching through the TBN members, I only found 2 folks who listed a Mahindra as thier tractor - and I was one of them!!! /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Golly - SURELY someone else out there has a Mahindra! Hello??? Is anybody out there???
I own a 2006 7520 4WD. I like the tractor, but am reserveing judgment at this point. It is currently in the shop. The engine stopped because the camshaft stopped turning. It is an assembly problem that Mahindra knows about. It breaks my heart to have an engine with 174hrs in perfect condition have to be torn apart. I am confidant that Mahindra is going to stand behind it, but they are slow. The stop happened on 2/5/07 and was reported immediately. I will see how this pans out.

Assuming the tractors latent problems are all worked out, I have a major concern with the main hydraulic system, which is supposed to deliver 17GPM, and actually delivers 11 or 12 judging from loader speed. I will press this point while it is in the shop.

This post reminds me of something Ive lost. How do you view the members list? I once did it, but now cant find it. Anybody know?

from my experience, 9 out of 10 times clutch issues are due to misuse from the user.

i'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you'd elaborate a bit about your problems instead of giving such a brief negative response.

Maybe I am a bit cynical, but I have to side with Dave that it's odd that a 5 year old thread is resurrected to bash Mahindra and praise the indestructible Kubota. This is another reason why threads should be readable, but locked for posting after a certain period of inactivity.

I don't mind at all. As a 10 series owner, bash away, mine's been great!:)
Every brand has its horror story and some of those may be legit, but posts that offer little other than a bash on a particular brand are quite evident for what little value they have to offer.
Buy that Kubota. You should get a great tractor, but if you don't, be honest about it and provide more substantive info than you did in your initial post.

Hey guys relax,
IF he had the problems he's describing I'd call it a field experience. He is not BASHING. He speaks his mind. Everybody is entitled to his opinion.
We were given a brain to sorte good from bad, clever from idiotic etc.,
Let's use it.

Joe
P.S.
If there's a constant flow of negative comments, then it might be something to consider. This is an isolated case, so I really feel sorry for him and I hope he is not lying.
His regretable experience wouldn't change my perspective or my opinion toward Mahindra at all.
