Mahindra (Kodiak) MD mowers

I am thinking about purchasing the Mahindra 6ft Medium Duty rotary cutter. The dealer said they are getting 2750 for it. Seems high to me, anybody on here bought one? Was it that much?

Agri-supply sells them for $1439.99 dont know what shipping would be but thats a big jump but your a long way from NC

Ask the dealer if he'll match Agri-Supply + shipping and see what he says. The Mahindra signage certainly can't be worth that much more $$. Now if it was a John Deere sticker then I say you'd be getting a deal!

I was recently in the same predicament for a standard duty 5' cutter. Basically the Mahindra dealers wanted roughly $500 more for the Mahindra than a Kodiak from Agri-Supply. I'm not sure what shipping would have been, but I know I wouldn't pay significantly more basically just for a Mahindra sticker. The dealer obviously passes on the shipping charges they incurred and a profit for themselves. I went to another local farm equipment place and they now deal with Titan Implements rather than Mahindra or Kodiak. The Titan cutter is very similar to Kodiak. The info I was told was that the Kodiak owners split and one started Titan Implements. I purchased the Titan cutter a few days ago but haven't been able to use it yet. But if you have settled on Mahindra/Kodiak style and build level, look for Titan in your area also.
