First, let me just say that I like my Mahindra and the service I get from my local dealer.

But evidently, some early production 5500 Series tractors, like mine purchased in September of 2015, went out with fuel tank liners that flake and peel off inside the tank, clogging filters and fuel lines. Later models have a different tank. I have a hunch that the dealers have one of those technical service bulletins that says something like if the customer complains and the tractor is still under warranty, replace the tank. That is what my dealer is going to do.

So friends, I do not know what other models may be involved, but if you are experiencing fuel delivery problems and you are still under warranty, you may want to look into it. Or have the dealer check your VIN even if you do not have a problem yet and you are still under the two year general warranty.

Maybe a dealer can chime in here and give us the service bulletin info.

It's called a TIB. There is NONE for the 5500 series tractors.

Looks like your dealer is taking care of you. That speaks well of them.
