I have a Mahidra 4510. The air conditioning coolant is full, dye was added and there are no leaks. The AC blows cold and the fan works but not strong. With that as a background the cab gets about 20 degrees warmer than the outside air temperature even with the AC on high. This past weekend the interior got to 110 degrees. I have now purchased an auxillary fan in an attempt to get more air circulation. The dealer said if they put in a new factory blower it would be $900, I think that is without labor.

In the past before I got the AC checked and found it was OK I used to remove the doors to make it tolerable inside. Any suggestions.

Sounds a little strange to me my 5010 A/C works fine and the fan blows with force. I am going to get the windows tinted just about anything with glass down here gets tinted sooner or later.LOL
As to cost I guess your not under warranty anymore but $900 plus labor that blower better be gold plated?
I hope some one on here will be able to give you some good advise on your problem. Good luck.

I used to do AC service. One of the most common fixes for low performing AC systems was to clean the air filter. Everything nice and clean??. Easy to overlook in the search for a technical solution to problems like yours. Just make sure nothing is jamming up the internal airflow before it hits the coil?. Can you actually reach in and touch the cooling Coil (evaporator) does it have an even cold temp?? Does it have a build up of ice on the coil when it is running?? just a few thoughts. Good luck finding the problem.

I changed all the filters including the interior cabin filters less than 75 hours ago but will recheck everything. Thanks

If the evaporator is clogged up with dust and other crud try spraying it with hydrogen peroxide letting it sit for a little while and then spraying it out with the garden hose. I have done this for years on cars and it works great.

it the the air flow from the vents is weak i bet the evaporator is dirty.

check evaporator core and filter, 75 hrs in dusty environment can plug it up, also blow out and wash out a/c condensor and radiator. Tint will help, does blower work on all speeds?

Thanks for all the suggestions. When I looked at my manual it showed the evaporator at the top of the cab on the left side. Is that correct or where is it located and how to access it. Thanks

Some cabs have a drop down acccess panel, or a flip up roof that is hinged. The evaporator is usualy near the air intake filter. You can follow the hoses.

Did you mean the evaporator or the condenser?? Just trying to clarify?
