I know I'm reopening an old thread but thank you for saving me hundreds in parts vs a 10c fuse.
Glad this thread helped. That's what they're for!I know I'm reopening an old thread but thank you for saving me hundreds in parts vs a 10c fuse.
THANK YOU SOOOOO much for this post . You just saved me a trip to the repair shop or possibly assuming it was the soleniod. The fuse was certainly difficult to find and get to, but we did.... THANKS AGAINRecently, my emax25 HST developed a starting problem. No matter how many times we warmed the glow plugs, even in 91 degree weather, it wouldn't start. Some Googling sent me here, which suggested a number of things to try. One person kept mentioning a 10 amp fuse, but for the life of me I couldn't find the one he was talking about. Squatting down near the front tire, trying to look for worn wires, I moved a bundle of wires, which moved another bundle of wires. That caused me to look at the second bundle that moved. There, taped to a harness with black electrical tape, was a small plug that said "fuse" on the very end of it. Not even noticable. Not even mentioned in the manual ANYWHERE. The only reason it wasn't already on a trailer to the dealer was because the stupid thing wouldn't start. Popped open the plug and sure enough, there was a 10a fuse. Took it out, put it back in and it fired right up. Shut it down and it fired up again. So, I'm thinking that fixed the problem. I'll get some grease to put on it later this week. In the meantime, here's some pics of what I'm referring to, just in case someone else has this problem.
