Mahindra E350 steering

I have a Mahindra E350 but the steering wheel just turns freely and does not move the wheels. Is this an easy fix? or???

This could be caused either by the steering wheel, or the steering box output shaft splines slipping or gears slipping in the steering gear box. The steering linkage could also have come apart.

I believe this unit is hydrostatic is it not?If so probably the steering box as I had trouble also
