Mahindra 8560 4WD remote hook up

I need to get hoses and connectors to connect a hydraulic cylinder to my 8560. Are the connectors that go into the rear remotes standard or do I need a specific kind? If so does anyone know a specific brand or kind I need? I thought they would be universal but the farmer I bought my disc from said other wise. Thanks!

Any 1/2" AG fittings are going to work.

It was OLDER that were brand specific. My 38 year old JD 2030 has different than my 6 year old JD 6415. Things have pretty much been standardised now.

How long do you guys normally make your hoses? I want to be able to use my cylinder with several implements. I am new to tractor ownership and am learning as I go. Thanks
