Price Check Mahindra 8' HD Lift Type Cutter

I have a Mahindra 10' brush mower pull type. Paid $4600 for it 2 years ago. It has the Mahindra name on it, but is mfg by Kodiak. http://www.kodiakmfg.com/ Looking at these on the Kodiak web site will give you all the specs and info you may be interested in. Be aware of the pto hp needed between a 3ph vs pull type. When I went shopping for a mower I was also looking at the lift type but when I saw the pto needs and the size I wanted the 10' pull was my choice and made that decision from the Kodiak web site. Either way you go, the Mahindra/Kodiak machine will do the job. This weekend we finished cutting 60 acres for weed control. Looks good when it's cut down to 3".

Absolutely. Some taken by phone camera. Mostly cut down to 2" and the So. 40 was last cut 15 years ago!!!! Just bought that a year ago.

Beautiful land there! I too have been looking at the Mahindra 10ft cutter. If your pulling it with a 5530 I certainly should have no trouble with the 7010 cab!

Thanks for the compliment and it'll look better with the 40 plus maples we have planted this past spring.

The Mahindra 10' will be a sweet unit attached to the 7010. The unit running at 540 pto rpm's will handle any small 3" tree. If it bends under, it will shred & dice the little buggers. Little noisy but keeps on mowing. We mow our land down to 2" for weed control but higher heights is always an option.

I recently purchased a Kodiak HD 8 cutter this spring. The Mahindra dealer wanted $4,000 for theirs, but found the Kodiak much cheaper from a great dealer about 40 miles further away. They priced me $2600, but said the new shipment would be going ip to $3,300. They sold me a "scratch and dent" HD8 for $2,200. It had some faded paint and a few scratches but was otherwise brand new and with full warranty. I am very happy with the cutter and it is very heavy duty for its weight and price. I have easily cut 2-3" stuff. My tractor has 56 PTO HP and handles it so well, I almost wish I had gone with the 10' pull type. They were selling those for $3,699 at the time. I suggest finding a Kodiak dealer and pricing them against the mahindra dealer. As said they are the same cutter. Either way I think you will be happy with the cutter. I used the email on the Kodiak website find the closest dealers.

I had a 10ft Howse brand shredder HD it was a good old shredder sold it to nieghbor and bought me a new 8ft LandPride HD im very happy with it. Only down sized,cause it fits on trailer better.[/ATTACH] sold old shredder for $1400

That pasture grass looks like a huge back yard! Unbelievable. I forgot what a pasture looks like without mesquite and huisache. Nice work and thanks for the pics.

Thanks, Elk and deer love it. This is why I have the 10' Mahindra mower to keep it that way. Timber with a year round creek a couple hundred yards away for day cover. Then at night on my big "lawn". Trouble is I'm not there to see it every day. But my desk top photos remind me where I need to be at. First pic of a few maple trees, planted 40 plus, second is where the deer and elk live.

Thanks "tractor ernie"! I started it, my daughter mowed a good chunk and then I finished it (something about wanting to spend time with her boyfriend and that she is not my personal servant!) (BTW, I am Idaho2's son)
