it is also possible that your control valve is stopped up or not working right... you can take it out to be sure its opening and closing like it should.. brake cleaner never hurts while you have it out.

Agreed. Just looked at the service manuel. If the draft control is OK its more that likely the issue is in the valve. There are lots of components to it. :confused3:

If it was filter/strainer plugged loader and remotes would not work. It's gotta be in the hitch itself. Either draft stuck or in Valve. The hitch cover assembly will have to come off for repairs.

All hydraulic functions slowed, especially when cold. Removed and cleaned pre-filter screen (thank you for the picture!). It was not plugged. No improvement in lift rate but the three point hitch function started working again. Luckily enough just draining the fluid and refilling "fixed" the 3 point lift.

A new screw on filter (later) restored overall lift speed and cool weather operation. Used the cheapest yellow pail Tractor Supply hydraulic fluid. I wish I had used something else as the net indicates it has poor cold weather performance.
