Mahindra 6000 Brake Light Stays On All the Time

Hi Folks,

I was piling some brush this afternoon and my brake light came on and stayed on. My first thought was a wire had pulled loose under the foot board but didn't see any evidence of that.

Any thoughts, ideas, etc.

Is the brake light switch button maybe stuck in?

It may be. Is it at the end of the smaller spring above the brake pedals?

If anyone is interested, the problem was the tab holding the switch that attaches to the spring and, subsequently, to the brake pedal had been bent upward. Bent it back down, problem solved.
