Mahindra 5500 vs 5010

I curently own a Mahindra 5500 with loader and back-hoe. I had it in for service and was offered a 5010 Gear/HST Cab plus paying $10,000. Just wondering if I should consider the deal. I think my tractor is a pretty good work horse and don't want to go backwards. Thank you.

Take a look at the weights, that will say alot about the two. Also compare rear end assemblies and front axles. As you said, don't go backwards.

Your 5500 is a utility tractor. The 5010 is a large compact utility. Two different beasts altogether. If you need the work horse, I would not step down to the 5010.
