Mahindra 5010 won稚 start. Battery good

I was bush hogging a very small area for about 5 minutes. At one point I heard a loud bang but the sound wasn稚 from hitting anything. It more sounded like someone hit the cab somewhere with a baseball bat.

I shut the tractor down for about 15 minutes and then when I tried to start it back up it clicked once and from then on nothing. Now it痴 almost as if there is no battery at all with no response. I checked the fairly new battery and it痴 fully charged.

Could the loud bang have been something electrical?

If you have an ECU, it could have perhaps popped. Can you turn the crankshaft with a wrench? If not, perhaps a rod let go.

I値l need to read on where the ECU is. As far as a rod everything sounded fine for the remainder of the time I was bush hogging. No odd engine noises.

I took a jump box down to the tractor to verify it was not the battery and it behaved very similar to the initial failure.

When the key was turned the lights and air conditioner came on for a split second then totally gone.

I rechecked the clamps and tried a few more times but nothing at all, no lights, no electrical response of any kind.

I was going to start looking for fuses but an instant downpour started.
