I just purchased a 4540 and was wondering if by removing the two rear bolts on the seat base will let it tilt forward. It has pivot bolts on the front. Also is there a speed control for the 3pt lift drop haven't been able to locate one.

I thought when I posted this being a popular model I would get a response. Everyone must be out using there tractors. I would still like to have the answers. I really like the tractor with the exception of the fact that the 3pt lift drops to fast.

My 4550 has a control knob at the base of the seat. I had to remove the little locking tab so I could turn the knob. This knob will control the amount of fluid going to your 3 point hitch. Adjust it to suit your needs. It called the Isolator valve #15

Thanks I finally figured that out on my own. I removed the locking tab and left it off.
