I have a 4wd Mahindra 4510 cab tractor. I also have a Woods/Bush Hog 750 3pt hitch backhoe. Will this fit on my tractor and do I need a subframe or will the Woods 3 pt hitch arms handle the same. I think the tractor is about 45 horsepower, Category 1. Thanks

The backhoe will fit on your 3PH, but if the tractor is still under warranty, Mahindra will void the warranty. If you mount this backhoe on the tractor and use it, also use your head. If something won't move, work at it a little at a time or leave it there. Or if it won't move and you keep banging on it, that is when you will break your tractor. I hope you understand what I am saying and good luck.

Thank you for the information. Also does anyone know the part number for the appropriate subframe for the 750 Woods backhoe and Mahindra 4510 tractor?

It is the top link that is not designed to take the stress of the BH might exert on it. My dealer informed me that if the BH rips it out of the housing it would not be covered by warranty. The rest of the tractor will still be covered. I saw somewhere on TBN a way replacing the top link by an attachment tying it to the frame or rear axle.

I am not so sure that is correct about the warranty. The top link attachment to the tractor is the most vulnerable stress point, but that can be relieved by a chain from the top link mount on the backhoe to the tractor rear axil on both sides and a strong binder to tighten it. If you do that and use your head when operating the backhoe you should be in good shape.

Redneck: My barn is about 1/2 mile from both roads, hard even to see so I must live in the country.
I am pleased about this site and the posters. Alot of quick and good information from all. I will have more questions in the future. Thanks again all.
