I have a Mahindra 4500 2wd and it keep shutting down, I have taken out the filter, drained the tank, put in new fuel, and the tractor will run 20+ min. and shutdown. I have the braided fuel lines with the (Bango) fuel lines ends. the braided part of the fuel line is in the middle of the fuel line, that allow flex. I think my issue is the primer on top of the fuel assembly, it hard to pull up and push down to prime the tractor. A week ago I was able to prime the tractor, and hear the fuel pushing up in the tank, now the primer hard to budge and the tractor will not start. Can someone give me a second advice that the primer is causing my tractor to shutoff. Also how can I find a extended hose/pipe to screw in the fuel tank return line adapter in the place of the filter. I use disel fuel cleaner in my tank and it generated more disel gum plus the inter wall of the tank appear to be pilling off. the extented fuel line will be higher than the filter keeping gum from clogging up at the fuel line adapter, and the gum will sit at the bottom of the extended hose.

HI: I am having the same problem with my Mahindra 4500, I have taken out the fuel tank filter, for the real test, drained out my fuel tank, refilled the fuel with new fuel. and after cutting 20 plus min's the tractor cuts off. I notice a problem with my fuel primer on the fuel pump assembly. The primer will not pull up and allow you to prime the tractor. Before a week ago, my tractor cut off, I was able to prime the tractor, the tractor started up and allowed me to cut for 20 plus min's. Can someone tell me if the primer stuck issue, may be causing my tractor to cut off. Now not being able to prim the tractor, the tractor will not start, like of fuel. I am unable to unscrew, the primer off the fuel pump assembly, while the fuel assembly is on the tractor. Now I have removed the fuel pump assembly off the tractor. How to test the primer, to see if it still working??? i was informed you can use Bleach to clean out your fuel tank. What are some of your idea on that??/
