Mahindra 4035 filters and motor questions

Have any of you guys found other companies that sell filters for Mahindra tractors? Called a few local places and had no luck on aftermarket filters. Ended up going to the dealer(50mins away) to get the filter.

I remember reading that the motor in my 4035 might be a Perkins clone of some sort??? It makes me wonder, if that is the case, maybe an oil filter for a certain Perkins motor might fit?

Any thoughts?

I found that the OEM filters supplied by my Mahindra dealer were cheaper than xreffed filters from my local WIX, Fram, etc dealers.

Since my dealer is way up in the U.P., I got my filters from Mahindra in Texas via the internet. I now have a shiny new dealer just 8 miles away [ Zaremba Equipment in Gaylord ], so next time I will hit them up. While some of the outsourced Mahindra models may be Perkins based, I would think the 35 series is International Harvester based.... since Mahindra and International Harvester were in cahoots before I.H. went bankrupt. But that is just a wild guess....

Correction: I.H. did not go bankrupt... They sold the ag portion to Tennaco which owned Case, and the final product became Case I.H.

Mahindra partners with Perkins on many of their own engines (they partnered for the mCRD tech on their new tier4 stuff) and the have also purchased many designs from Perkins. Whether they use the same filters as the closest Perkins equivalents, who knows...

I'm pretty sure the castings and gearings are where Mahindra uses most of what they learned from IH. The motors in their in house stuff seems to mostly be Perkins derived designs topped with Bosch injection/emissions.
