Mahindra 4025 RPM gauge doesnt work

hello to all and thanks in advance for the help,

i replaced the alternator on my tractor and now the rpm gauge doesn't work. it worked fine before. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Mike,

Just had my 08' 5530 serviced and one issue was the Tachometer being erratic. Dealer traced mine back from the alternator to a loose connection in the dash panel for the tach. Hope this helps.

thanks idaho2 for the help. its really strange,when i cranked up the1st time after the replacing the alternator i got nothing.
