Mahindra 4025 Hydraulics

I just bought a 2013 Mahindra 4025 4x4. I have a line that started leaking, the line comes from under the seat and runs to the bottom of the tractor. It has three bajo fittings under the seat, 1/8th in. steel line and is crimped to a braided rubber line then goes back into a steel line under the tractor. My main problem is it smells just like gear oil and has always been serviced at the dealer and they said it is not supposed to be any gear oil in that line but I cannot get a straight answer as to what goes in it. Thanks and would greatly appreciate any help.

I'll double check mine when I get home, but I believe that line feeds the lift arms. That should be UTTF, not gear oil.

I have the problem its leaking how and where can I find the hose to replace it

Trying to find it through Mahindra is a possibility, but could be problematic. If I had this problem I would remove the line, cut the crimp sleeves off and remove the suspect hose. Take a sample to a good parts house and get a length of hyprex fuel hose the same size and a few worm gear hose clamps. That looks like nothing more than a lube line of some sort and probably not under much pressure. Nonetheless I wouldn't use standard low pressure rubber fuel line, but hose rated for for fuel injection systems. Shouldn't be that hard to find. Our local NAPA store carries it in various sizes.

That is the Rockshaft Lubrication tube (to the 3P hitch) and its low pressure. I had to replace mine a while back. Bill's Tractor has one for the 4550 that may work....

I have a similar line on a 2018 5545 that was leaking. Dealer showed a different line and had a problem finding out what configuration was installed on my tractor. I solved problem by having a hydraulic shop cut off all the banjo fitting and build a new line from quality material and installing the original banjo fittings. They told me the Mahindra flex line was a low quality material. Rebuilt line appears to be a lifetime replacement.
