Mahindra 4025 clutch pedal issue

Our 4025 4WD tractor has what is apparently an older design clutch and brake pedal setup. The tops of the pedals are relatively smooth and several times my foot has slipped off the clutch pedal at an inopportune moment. I called the dealer and they tell me the newer models have a redesigned clutch pedal with a rubber slip on style pad. And no, it won't fit on our tractor.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and what they did to resolve it. The dealer says there is no kit that I can get to do an upgrade.

Sounds stupid but I bought a truck from a MD’s kid (all money no brain). Anyway he added these pedal covers so they looked “cool”. They were billet or pressed aluminum and simply bolted on/over/around the existing pedals. You may have some luck looking at the speed shops like Summit Racing for pedal covers.

I have zero experience with the 4025.

The day I got my 4540 I noticed that the peddles were slippery. First chance I got I solved the problem.

On the brake peddle, I spayed it with black paint. Then I sprinkled in some fine sand. I waited for the paint to dry then sprayed it with paint again.

On the clutch, I put a piece of skate board tape, or non-skid floor tape like they use on stairs in public buildings.
Lowes or Home Depot have it.

Both are working out equily well. I just wanted to see which held up the best.
