Working on a friends tractor. It sat for a while and got water in the bell housing The clutch stuck to the flywheel , I assume it got hot, the throw out bearing is stuck and the fingers on the pressure plate were destroyed. Every single finger broke and scattered around the bell housing
The tractor is apart. The clutch was fairly easy to get removed but I can't get the throw out bearing out. Is there a trick to this ? The dealer said to remove the snap ring at the rear of the bell housing and it should slide apart. It not working and worried I will damage the transmission if I put a puller on it. Thanks for any advice .
