how do I tell if i have the old sheet metal model or the new? attached is a picture of
the plate with the serial number. I lso previous took a picture down the tube where the splined shaft goes. It doesnt really show much and I cant really see much down there. I took the steering column (plastic cover) off of the tractor but it doesn't get me to the where the shaft would connect with the other splined piece. It looks like to get to that portion of the tractor, I would have to remove the throttle cable, gear shifter, and a couple other parts that i would like to leave alone if possible (I am not a mechanic). The big problem I have is that my tractor is stranded in the middle of the woods and I have no way to get it bak to my barn or trailer becus eI have no steering
