I have this 2810 and it has been a good tractor. recently I had issues with reverse. I could hardly depress reverse and it would barely move. I the done the smart thing and checked the book for options. well, the linkage needed to be greased so I done this but to no avail. I took it in to the dealer who heated up the reverse pedal and bent it around so it would work and it did. You would think there would be some sort of an adjustment but they didn't seem to think so and neither did I.
Just the other day the forward is now sticking. It works fine but feels like it is rubbing on something perhaps in the transmission case. I have re-greased both inserts but it is still sticking. It is almost like the cruise control is on but it's not. Speaking of cruise control, I did use it a couple weeks ago and it is not working properly either. It will not hold your speed after it is set. It will hold it for maybe 30 seconds then backs off.
Any ideas to what the issue(s) could be with both?
