Any one else having issues with the FEL pins for the quick attach bending? They are not captured on my loader like most other tractor brands. I've bent three sets. Two trying to use a Westendorf no third function grapple and the third with forks. I was trying to tip the forks forward a bit to get out from under a pallet and heard the now all too familiar sound. As for the grapple. With many emails and pictures, Westendorf agreed with me and said that grapple could not be used on this tractor. They were kind enough to refund my monies and paid the return shipping. That was the indication to me that I wasn't crazy and there is an issue with this design. I can't for the life of me figure out why Mahindra would engineer such a crappy design. I have since welded in 1/4 inch plates at the bottom to keep the pins captured in a straight line. Haven't add any issues since but I am very gun shy when using the loader. At $180.00 a set I can't keep bending these things. Have put a pair on a press and straightened them out but wonder if they are now weaker because of the bend. Guess time will tell.
Mahindra doesn't seem to think there is a problem and would not honor any warranty for the pins. Dealer is thinking I am just too abusive with the front end. I also own a JD 4200 that as a rookie tractor owner have abused that poor machine with very little issues. Guess I've been spoiled by a tougher built tractor.
Hope anyone reading this will have some input. Thanks in advance for any response.
