Wow, it looks like they finally brought my tractor back with reverse numbers. I have a 2615, specs look identical. That should at least boad well for parts and stuff. I like the new hydro pedal location. Mine def has some ergo issues but I still love her.

Tractor is very close size wise, but the loader and backhoe specs are quite a bit better, and it uses a smoother HST unit. Even so, the 2615 was a best seller for years, and is still a great tractor. But if you like your 2615, you would like the 1526 even better. Especially the ~40% increase in loader lift capacity.

Question, Dave. Do the 1500 series tractors use Mitsubishi engines or Mahindra engines. I'm confused about where all my tractor components came from. I thought Mitsu built the tractor but the engine came from Mahindra but now it seems that Mitsu builds the engines too. I know the loader and backhoe came from KMW. So what does Mahindra build if anything or are they just labeling stuff and farming out all of the manufacturing to others?

On the Max, Max XL and 1526 it is all Mitsu on the tractor and engine. 1533/38 is a Mitsu tractor with a Mahindra engine. 25 series are TYM with a Mahindra engine. 35/45/55/mPower are all Mahindra tractors with Mahindra engines.

In the USA Mahindra tractors are sourced from several plants and countries. But there is no doubt that worldwide by far the Mahindra built tractors are the lions share of Mahindra sales. In the USA, there is a bigger market for compact tractors, and that is where Mitsu and TYM are most helpful.

Thanks for clearing that up, Dave. I didn't think Mitsu would spray paint a fan belt, an alternator or even wiring, it's just not very Japanese.

START WITH A 0.030 tHICK STAINLESS WASHER UNDER THE RELIEF VALVE, as it is a lot less than a new tractor.

You just rearrange the numbers on the hood and you are good to go.

More seriously, the 3015, back in the day, had a 110 loader as opposed to your 106 loader. It would bolt right on to the 2615, we know, we sold several this way. It lifted 1300 lbs as it had larger cylinders. However, it also had additional bracing at the mounts. For how your unit is built, you need to stay at the 1000 lb loader capacity. Time to trade it in....

As far as raising the system pressure, that isn't a bad idea on some Max28/26XL models as some of them were a tad low, but I would not do it on the 2615.
