I have looked at the mahindra 4110 the dealer got it in in march he said mahindra was going to stop building the 10 series after 2007. what would be a good buy on this tractor and what about parts in the future. i really like the tractor. dealer is pretty close and i think they are good. thanks for the input.

Radiator on my 4110 constantly clogs and I have to clean it with compressed air or a pressure washer every 2-3 hours of bush hogging. If you plan on working it hard, I would go another direction.

The 10 series is made by TYM for Mahindra.Id assume that Mahindra might be coming out with there own mis size compact tractors by now or will be expanding the 15 series from I believe Mitsubishi. Mahindra first started here in the states with a full line up of the 10 series years ago

I recently spoke with a service rep. from Mahindra, about 5 or 6 weeks ago and he said they had a new tractor to replace the 4110 in testing, should be coming into production soon. I think he said it would be 49 hp. He also said it would be Indian produced, so I guess it's a true Mahindra. Don't know if it will be assembled here or not.

As far as parts for the 4110, I personally don't think it will be much of a problem getting the critical items for a good while. Maybe sheet metal, dash components etc. might be hard to come by in later years. TYM will be a decent source for critical parts for those like mine, and Mitsubishi ought to be able to supply critical parts for some time for theirs. My early 4110 takes the exact same clutch assembly as a Massey-Ferguson, can't remember what the model was. I just hope I'm right - I plan to keep my 4110 for quite a few years yet, it is just the right size etc. I need. And yes - I agree, got to clean the radiator quite often when it's dry but it shows that the airflow for the system is good and the more fins in the core, the better cooling overall. When my temp. gauge gets around 3/4 up, I stop & blow it out, about 3 or 4 solid hours' worth of cutting. Mature sage grass is terrible.

Hi all

I wonder if there is some kind of a cross reference for parts that fit around to different brands of tractors? I guess the dealer might be a good source for info?

Cheers...Coffeeman

I don't see the parts supply for the 4110 drying up anytime soon, as there are a large number of them in use at present. The back half of the tractor is supposed to be the same as one of the Massey's.

My brand new local TYM dealer had a tough time cross referencing TYM part numbers to Mahindra numbers... but no problem at all identifying the actual parts. Other than the Daedong/Kioti engine... just pretend it's a 400-series TYM and... in fact... it is!!! :)

Every replacement/maintenance part I've bought so far has been TYM, KMW, Daedong/Kioti or Bradco... so unless those companies suddenly go belly up, I'll probably be fine! :)
