I have been going through posts and have seen others requesting info. on made in mexico parts/machines. Since someone had first brought this to my attention I have given it very in depth research and thought. My only concern is whether they are assembled in mexico, or are actual parts/castings produced there? The reason being, Myself being a glorified backyard mechanic, I have done a lot of automotive engine work. Crate motors, especially the 350 cheverolet motors, stamped on the rear of the block, "Made in Mehico" are of infererior "oops", cast. These motors are usually only good for about 60,000 miles "at best", then they are not even rebuildable. They are prone to hairline cracks in the cylinders, Blocks warping on the head mating surfaces and other insufficiencies. I am told the problem is due to lower quality control standards used in the metal. So, if the tractors are only assembled in mexico, no problem, if important parts, especially ones subjected to severe stress are cast there, "big problem". Does ANYONE know the truth?

It depends, like with everything else, on the manufacturer. The connecting rods and maybe everything else in the B series Cummins engines in Dodge trucks are cast in Mexico. They might even make the whole engine there as far as I know. I haven't heard of any of those engines pitching rods and some people wind them up to unbelieveable pover levels.
