Good evening. Looking forward to getting my new M7060 redelivered in the coming days. In addition to some options I had the dealer installing, I had them trying to reduce the pto engagement speed. When I was demoing the tractor, the pto engages so fast that the mx cutter would make all kinds of noise to get going. This was with tractor at idle and pto in E. There is no "feathering" the switch.
Anyway, dealer said there was an orifice that may can be changed out and slow down the rate. Today they called and said there was no orifice but was going to install a manual value in the line (don't know where) that would allow plenty of adjustment to the engagement speed without affecting running speed or power.
Surely I'm not the first that has brought this up. Anyone else?
