Sometimes I can shift easily between creep, lo, hi. Other times it is just stuck.

I put the shuttle in neutral, tranny in neutral and press the clutch.

When it is shifting you can feel movement of the large gear sets, and it takes little force.

When not shifting you feel springy brackets giving.

Any thoughts, sometimes just moving the tractor loosen them up

Sometimes you need to let the clutch out in neutral just to spin the gears to another spot so the teeth can mesh.

My Kubota M6040 is ten years old. There are times when shifting the range is tough - other times easy. It's definitely become easier with use. I've never had the "springy bracket feeling" but I don't have creep either. As Dave M7040 says - a matter of getting the gears to mesh.

I have similar feeling changing ranges on a much smaller Kubota with a creep range. Not only are the 3 ranges not synchronized, my thinking is that the gears have to be in just the right place in order to mesh. That being true, when you try to give the lever extra force you are working against whatever bending and elasticity there is in the linkage and it just won't go. That's the "springy" stuff. Dave M7040 has it right -- keep playing with gear spin and position until it finally goes. I find a little bit of ground motion and then re-try also helps. In effect, try anything that rotates gears including shifting main gears, re-clutching, and ground motion. No consistent "works every time" solution but I think what you have is probably normal.

Your bigger 7060 is radically different than my smaller Kubota with creeper. I'm no help here. Go by Dave 7040 and Oosik's advice.
WSM drawings you show clearly illustrate how to keep the range lever from rubbing against the sheet metal slot in the fender for the lever -- but I doubt that is causing your symptoms anyway.
