I was quoted 30,500 for new 7040 with FEL and hay spike, is this in range for other 7040's, Thanks also quoted $10,800 for rtv 900 industrial model with $851 dollars off total package as discount for buying both,

It sounds about right to me...based on the quote I got. My quote was 29.5 but did not have CI wheels. Not sure what CI wheels would cost but some other threads show around a grand. But I don't know if that is outright or the difference between steel and CI when purchased.

Also, I think you asked in another thread about the cost of self-leveling FEL (if not then disregard) but yes it does cost more. The MSRP for that valve (right out of the price book) is 1634.00 additional. Again, that is MSRP. On my deal it ended up around 800.00 I think.

So that when you raise the loader arms with a full bucket of material, the bucket stays in a "level" position and won't spill any of the materials back on the tractor & operator or over the front edge of the bucket.
