Until this thread i had no idea that kubota's were not tested there. I know they are good machines, just makes me wonder why they will not allow their products to be tested.

Next time I am at the dealer I will ask why the are not tested.

Why doesn't deere test their smaller tractors?

I don't put much stock in the nebraska test. I know a guy that bought a 50hp tractor in the 90's. It was tested at Nebraska. It was low on power. The dealer dynoed it and it made 28hp. They tested 3 new tractors on their lot and they made 28hp.

Me, I would have been asking for my money back. I would have told the dealer and any other State Regulatory Agency that would listen, this is a big-big case of fraud. I just don't think the Nebraska test has any connection to misleading sales stats published by a manufacture that a unit supposed to produce fifty horsepower only produces 28.

My M6040 gets around a gallon per hour doing routine chores - back blading snow, digging & moving dirt, chipping etc. I'm sure it would use more for more aggressive work loads.
