Kubota M7040 cab/hyd shuttle - current, Kubota L3400 - traded
Today was the first time I tried to hook on a 3PT implement. I was surprised to see that the lower links didn't go nearly as close to the ground as my L3400s did. Heck they were almost 10" off the ground at their lowest position.

Almost had a hard time hooking up my box blade!

Looking at the manual it seems like both lift rods are adjustable - one with a handle and one without. Weird that they would only put a handle on one if they are both adjustable.

I'm guessing that all that is required here is for me to lengthen the lift rods?

You may have checked this already, but on my M7040SUD, there are a couple holes on the lift arms and a few on the lift rods (not sure what the name those are). Does your machine have that setup? If so, have moved the connection points to allow the arms to drop as low as they'll go?

I took a couple pics of my hitch and at the setting shown, it's exactly ten inches off the ground. Moving the lift rod to the back hole and usng the lowest hole in the lift rod would probably lower it another few inches.

Actually, I meant moving the lift rod to the foward hole on the lift arm would lower the arm a few inches.

Gosh no I missed this. Let me go out and take a look to see if I have those holes as well. Thank you for posting those pictures.

The crank on the one is get setting angle, such as using a scraper blade. Don't want a flat driveway.
