I'm confused which cylinder that you are having problems with. Back in post #14 you said it was the dipper cylinder when you said, "I also need a backhoe dipper cylinder replacement/refurb to exchange with mine or a cylinder gasket rebuild kit."
But that confuses me because I don't see any way that dipper stick movement can cause the bucket to drag when the main boom is retracted and latched for traveling. Are you sure you are getting parts for the correct cylinder?
BTW, I wasn't notified by Kubota about the MAIN BOOM CYLINDER upgrade either. That's fair; not all of them had a problem. For those that had a problem It wasn't a leaking problem, probably something internal that prevented it from retracting far enough to latch. My guess was that the internal piston stop had moved somehow. I didn't find out about the replacement cylinder being offered until I talked with Kubota.

You are correct in all regard, it does not make the bucket drop/drag from the actual movement of the leaking cylinder it's the main boom cylinder pressure dropping from the leak that causes that problem. Leak got worse and it drops faster. I used the backhoe for the first time in a month and that movement made the cylinder leak more, I'm making sure to store it now so it does not leak more. I've ordered parts just waiting for them to arrive.
I will be fabricating some "sap" guards too, I've seen hard sap get stuck on the rods and I assume this is what took out my seals
