March 2012 new L45--John Deere 650 sold/Kubota M59 TLB/sold bx24 and L3830
Thinking on getting one or the other. the 110 with hydraulics on the backoe and loader around 36,000, M59 no extra hydraulics around 42,500. I am presently not looking at any other. Do you think the extra 6,500 is worth the extra power.

Will the bigger machine get where you need it to? Do you need the extra capacity? Do you want to haul the extra weight around? What kind of service do your local dealers provide?

The M59 is WAY more tractor than a 110 is... its hardly a comparision. The L39 and the 110 are within about 5% of each other in every way. If you need the capacity, the M59 is about the only machine in this class right now. If you don't you'll find the L39 at a substantialy lower price point than the 110.

Thanks, I had a L3830 with a Bradco backhoe, but the loader could not lift a lot of the larger rocks on the property.

When you say extra wieght, will the extra 300lbs make that much of a difference?

He sells Deere, I sell Kubota. Its a blanket statement knowing that the M59 is a larger machine... and trying to point out things that would sway you to a Deere. He probably did not actually lookup the weight figures. Thats okay though, thats what we salesmen do. I'm guilty of it too.
