I bought a used M5640SUD Utility Tractor a couple years ago. I wish it had more adjustability in the 3ph. The previous owner told me he had the lower links switched over to the extension type for easier implement hook-up which was a Kubota change at Serial # 60,000. When I look at what is on the tractor compared to the Messicks diagrams there is a difference. Messicks shows for < S/N 60,000 3 holes in the lift rod and two holes in the lower link. I have only 2 holes in the lift rod and only one hole in the lower link.

If I look at the newer lower link it also has 2 holes.

So my question is - are Missick Diagrams generic illustrations or do they depict the actual part ??? And if they depict the actual part is there any way I can get dimensioned drawings so that I can compare to what I have and maybe modify it or get new parts ?? Thanks.
EDIT: FWIW my owners manual also shows 3 holes and 2 holes.
