Ive got a Kubota M5040 with the V3007-DI engine. Trying to figure out how and if i can turn up the injector pump. Need just a little more power. Is there anyone that knows how to turn it up? Would also like to know if its possible to install a turbo and what all parts it involves. Any suggestions?

What are you trying to do? How many hours are one the tractor?

Not according to the literature (2010) I have. You have to get up to the M8540 for a turbo. I've been toying with the idea of a new M and here at 4550' a turbo would definitely be a plus.

According to this the M5040 was replaced with the M5140 which uses the MX5100 engine which is a turbo. I did not see the M5040 avaiabel on their website, but I may have missed something.

I searched around a bit and couldn't find any reference to the M5040 being turbo charged, but I may have missed something.
