M Martin prc60 wheel frame bent

Wheel frame bent and I don’t even know how or when it happened. Bent it rather straight but I think I will brace it.

Bushhog crazy wheel frame bent. Help

New to bush cutting. Bought a new mk martin bushhog. Works great but as I went forward to reverse I watch the wheel swivel and I thought that the crazy wheel frame is going to bend. I tried picking up the bushhog when changing direction but I forgot sometimes. It bent. I’m pounding it back...

I think it would be best to keep your original thread going and not clutter the forums with duplicate posts. Your thread states the problem, then states your solution, not sure if any of us can help if you already found the solution. Am I missing something?

Pretty common occurrence when you aren't watching where the tail wheel is in relationship to where you are going, especially when reversing. Be more cognizant in the future. Far as bracing it, I'd like to see what you come up with....

I would be tempted to straighten it and leave it as is. It may act like a fuse, if that breaks it's an easy fix, further up the mower you start getting a bit harder.

I think you are right. I straighten it and didn’t brace it. I’m being more careful. No further problems.
