Glad the leak is fixed!
The loader you are going to look at probably will "bolt right on". Since the 135 was the highest selling model of tractor there is a lot of stuff around for it. The loader could be anything from a manual trip bucket to one with down pressure. The issue you will have is hooking up the hydraulics. If it is coming of a MF 100 series and has hoses and valves it would be wonderful -- otherwise you will need some other parts. If you get Big Deans CD that Flusher referenced in the other thread there is a whole section on it about adding loaders and the hydraulics to operate.
regards

Post the model number of the loader.. we can find out if it fits that tractor for you.

Yes, this is the tractor that had the oil leak. I did a little more research and discovered the tractor was not started in the last 3 years. So we decided to add some oil / seal conditioner and the leak stopped. The tractor is gas with a 3 cylinder engine; the tractor does have power steering and runs really well.

I been looking and I have found 1 really old loader for 150 bucks I am going to look at it this weekend. The seller tells me it will bolt right on but I am a little skeptical remember we are new to tractors and I don稚 want to make a dumb mistake.

Last night we did make a hay-bail lift and a carry-all and now we are going to see how well we did, we are buying round hay bales this weekend, so how much does a round bail weigh I hope not more then a ton :)

Here is what we know about the loader:

This loader is off a Ford 9n not sure what year. We think it is a Freeman loader (infomation from previous owner) My father bought the tractor and the loader came with it, he has never assembled it.
The parts appear to be all there frame, loader arms, pump, cylinders, bucket, control valve, trip lever. The frame and loader arms were sandblasted by previous owner.

can't speak for the fergies.. but the 9n loader front support is a kingpin hanger. not sure what the 135 will want.. IE.. whether it's bolster is setup for hanging a loader.. etc.

likely a torch and weld job if it was amde to fit a 9n.. etc.

No problem to have a FEL on a MF35 using the tractor's hydraulics. All you need to change is the top plate to be replaced by a 3 way valve (3 pt hitch; FEL; dump trailer for instance) still sold by Massey today. No worry at all about the strength of the front axle, it can take quite a lot! I have used a FEL bought from Massey with the tractor in 1960 for 14 years without any issue to dig holes, carry stones and tree trunks, pull out stumps etc.
