M-4050 Kubota

I saw an add today for a 50 HP 2WD Diesel Kubota tractor with 1100 hrs. on it. Asking $7000 in very good condition. I have always owned Ford, IH, and John Deere tractors and know nothing about the Kubota. Does this sound like something worth checking out? Would this tractor handle a small back hoe and a front end loader? My old 504 I.H. diesel has died and I need a tractor to replace it. I have been told that the M-4050 is a much smaller tractor and would not do the work that my I.H. did. Can anyone give me any advice .

Roy, since no one has commented, I looked at www.tractortips and saw that they show the 504 to be about a thousand pounds heavier than the M 4050. That tells me that it won't handle ground engaging implements as well. It is also listed at almost 4 pto hp less. These are Tractortips' figures, so I can't vouch for them. I can't help you with your other questions.

machinerylink says that $6799 is the primium price for an '84 model M 4050F.
