LX277 AWS Hydro Question

I have question regarding the hydro on my LX277 AWS. Everything works great on it, however when I am using the reverse pedal and let off, it doesn't stop instantly, and the pedal is slow to come back to the neutral setting. If I don't get on the forward pedal right away, it kind of coasts backwards. Is this normal? Is there an adjustment for the reverse pedal returning to neutral?

I would think there is a shock absorber or a spring that forces the pedal back to neutral.
