LX266 Died

While mowing with my LX266 I started losing forward movement, as well as reverse. I just assumed I had the typical TTF (Tuff Torque Failure). As I was preparing to remove the trans I noticed the LH axle to wheel key was sheared. I went ahead and removed the trans and made a thorough inspected of all the components. I could not find any other problems, so hopefully the only part I will need is a LH axle, since it was scored pretty bad, as well as the wheel hub, the key was completely eliminated.

Hope you are right about the axle being the extent of the damage.

So do I Dave. I lost a differential spider gear on an an automobile many years ago and had the same symptoms.
