LX2610 Hood will not open

I must have not attached the hood prop as it was catching in the lip of the bottom side of the hood.
See post #3. ;)

I have that same issue with my MF1540; it’s even worse when the loader is on it. I just grab it with my fingertips and get my hands under a better section as quick as I can. Try not to smash my fingers.
Thanks. I thought it was just me.

I kind of thought the hood should be spring loaded to pop up some, like a vehicle hood.

The more I'm around this machine, the more I hate it.

Good thing my wife likes it, it's hers.

Both of my M's have release springs on the lower valance and you should as well.
Does your hood pop up enough to get ahold of?

Have to check with someone with an LX2610.

Wish mine did.

Then I could get a hold of it.

I also hate where the dipstick is

Don't 'hate' where my dipsticks are but they could be in a more user friendly place as well. Only thing I hate is my ex wife actually.
