I'm confused yet again. The final drives and front diff have 80w/90 right? How about the tranny? Is Universal tractor fluid 46 good for everything except the engine and final drives? On the shifter boxes there are 2 different dip sticks. Are they both the same oil?

Tranny and rear diff share a common sump; typically filled with 80W90 gear oil in cool and temperate climates. In warm climates some prefer 85W140.

This tractor design isn't designed to use UTF anywhere anytime. It's generally too thin for the gears, and too thick for the hydraulics.

If the little TaiShan is constructed the same as the 200 series Jinma, the two shifter boxes also share gear oil; the forward dipstick being there to make sure the oil passageways between boxes stay unblocked. What you want to see is equal amounts of gear oil on both sticks. If they're uneven, it's a hint to try and find out why.

I put 80/90 in front diff. If the two dipsticks in the shifter boxes have 80/90, then which box hold hydraulics for FEL? The guy I bougfht this from told me 15w/40 in everything???

That goofy looking vented cap right behind the seat.

Found it, thanks. Where's the Injector pump, and know what it looks like, and where to fill and check levels?

There is a drain on the bottom of the injector pump, fill through the hole that is left when you removed the mushroom shaped vented cap till it runs out the 90 degree elbow (after you remove the plastic cover) located near the front end on the side of the pump. Now someone with more skills could post apicture if my words don't work.

I don't see this in parts book, so still not sure what the injector pump looks like.

Chip, when in the parts book page 29 and 30 of the kama ts254, I'm looking at the pull rod joints. when they talk about the left and rght sides, is it looking from the seat or front of tractor? I think I need to buy a few things for pull rod joints.

The injector part is in the engine parts book, if you are fortunate enough to have one. Normally the right side is the "passenger side" here in the USA right as seated on thactor, but pull rod joints are the same on both sides so you cant go wrong on them. Do need the thread size, as they upgraded about a year or so ago.

Probably need the ball pin, ball pin socket, and pull rod joint. Thread on nut for ball pin is 14 x 1.5 (Zn-D)whatever that is. Nut on the pull rod joint is M16 x 1.5. I sent a PM if that's where you need to leave pricing and availability.

Thanks. No, I don't have a separate engine book. Have one for sale?
