MY LT160 is being a PITA. It will start right up with the brake pedal pushed down, but when you release the brake pedal it dies.
I checked the brake pedal switch connection, checked the back of the ignition switch. Had no issues before this.
Any ideas on what could be the issue?
Thanks
Chuck

Seat safety switch is the problem.

Or possibly the PTO switch is on.. or system thinks it is on.

It’s a manual PTO engagement. You’ll have to look under the dash a little bit. Watch the lever where it makes contact to the switch. The seat switches cause issues as they get older as well. 😊

Seat Safety Switch was the issue. I had used a zip tie to bypass the switch and it had slipped and the plunger
had returned to the no driver position and since it was not where it belonged it was not being depressed when sitting on it.

Thank Guys
