LT1050 Transmission will not disengage when release is pulled.

Transmission drive belt broke. Removed the deck and pulled transmission release to disengage transmission so it could be pushed into the garage. Transaxle is locked. Will not move. Belt may have broken because the transaxle locked up. There is not drain plug that I can see. The manual says it's does not require servicing. Any ideas Please.. Thank you!

Other similar threads listed at bottom of this page. My 2005 LT1050 has a transmission drain plug, and it's oil gets changed annually. Must be someone thought a non-servicable tranny to be a good idea in newer model year machines.
